📍ITINERARY- want to see mountains, beach, and r 📍ITINERARY- want to see mountains, beach, and rainforest in one day? If you want it all, head to Olympic National Park! More PNW adventures at @adventuresoncall . 🏔️MORNING 🏔️ • Hurricane Ridge for panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains • Hurricane Hill Trail: ~3.2 miles round trip, moderate • Drive to the Hoh region ~2.5-hour drive . 🌿 EARLY AFTERNOON🌿 • Hoh Rain Forest for lush greenery and moss-covered trees • Hike the Hall of Mosses Trail: ~0.8 miles, easy • Picnic at the Hoh Rain Forest: Enjoy a packed lunch surrounded by the serene forest • Drive to the coast ~1.5-hour drive . 🌊LATE AFTERNOON🌊 • Rialto Beach for tide pools, sea stacks, and coastal scenery • Hike the Hole-in-the-Wall Trail: (~4 miles round trip, moderate) to see a unique sea arch, best during low tide • Enjoy the sunset! . 🥾TIPS 🥾 • Start at Port Angeles and Finish at Forks • There’s a lot of driving so I recommend 3-4 days at Olympic National Park ideally, but this hits the highlights if you’re short on time • You need a National Park Pass • No pups at Hurricane Ridge and Hoh, but for a VERY limited section at Rialto Beach you can have leashed dogs during the day - keep our parks beautiful! . . . Late to this trend, but honestly grateful to all the 9-5 workers who keep society running. . And for anyone who works odd hours/off shifts, it really sucks. 🩺I’m going back to clinic in person tomorrow 🩺I’m going back to clinic in person tomorrow - with a scooter, an aircast on my right and a brace on my left ankle. 🏥 I’ve been doing telehealth so far, but looking forward to a sense of normalcy. . 1️⃣ Husband has PTSD from lavender now thanks to my accident 2️⃣ the girls using my scooter as a “train/airplane/bike/boat” for imaginary adventures 3️⃣ super excited to go outside for fresh air. Thankful for Handicap parking. 4️⃣ library reading. Just finished Being Mortal (on hospice, end of life, and dying well) and started An American Sickness (how healthcare became big business) 5️⃣ so proud - after hundreds of hours, I finally finished rebuilding my foodblog @obsessivecooking 6️⃣ finished a 500 piece puzzle with help from Izzy! Husband found it “free” in the hospital, and I was so relieved it wasn’t missing any pieces 7️⃣ Izzy’s get well art for me with my favorite things - camping tents, marshmallow s’mores, and a potty 😂

I can’t bake a Nike a birthday cake while recover from surgery but will make it up to baby girl. . I did bake her a fox cake last year but never shared it. 🕰️”You can have it all, but not at the same 🕰️”You can have it all, but not at the same damn time” - advice given to me which pissed me off at first, but I think is more and more true as I get older. . ⏰Which would you definitely pick (or not pick). Are your three choices reflective of reality right now? . ⏳My reality is career/income, family, and hobbies/downtime. My goal is career/income, family, and exercise/good diet. . Medical training took a huge amount of time. Family is busy obviously with young kids. And like most of us, I spend an enormous amount of time on hobbies in the form of content creation, photography, and admittedly scrolling on social media (which I would like to cut back) . In the past year, my job has gotten busier, and I have cut back on content creation / brand collabs to shift more time towards exercise (running and swimming). Friends were nonexistent for a while, but happy to be building that back up. Sleep (rather lack of) has always been really bad for me. . ⏱️And people often say pfff work isn’t their top 3 priority, but I think most of us are working hard on a career/education/small business/side hustle (including content creation) . . . time management | adult life | millennial | motherhood | photographer | pnw life | productivity
